Kitten season is almost here, and we’re teaming up with local county animal shelters and their supporting rescues to help stock their shelves before the tiny chaos begins.

Our K9 for Kittens Treat Petite Sessions are a fun way to get adorable portraits of your pet while helping support shelters in our community.

Bring $50 or more in kitten food (or an Amazon gift card) for one of our participating county shelters, and you’ll receive $95 off your DesiLu Petite Collection.

Your pup gets a fun portrait session…

What Happens During Your Session

These sessions are designed to be quick, fun, and full of personality.

During your session we’ll photograph:

TREAT TOSS

Can your dog catch a treat mid-air? Let’s find out.

CLASSIC PORTRAITS

Because every pup deserves a few timeless portraits too.

TREAT LICK

For those hilarious tongue-out, nose-licking moments.

This year you can also choose between:

• a classic grey studio background
• our new colorful gel portraits for something bold and fun

Sessions last approximately 20 minutes.

A Friendly Shelter Competition 🐱

When you arrive for your session, you’ll choose which participating shelter/rescue your donation supports.

At the end of the event, we’ll tally up the donations and see which shelter collected the most kitten supplies. It’s all in good fun — and every shelter wins with a little extra help heading into kitten season.

What is a DesiLu Pet Petite?

DesiLu Pet Petites are short, themed portrait sessions offered throughout the year at DesiLu Cottage.

These sessions are designed to capture your pet’s personality in a quick, relaxed environment.

Petite Collections start at $195 and include digital files and prints.

After your session, please plan to stay 15–30 minutes for your Image Reveal & Ordering Appointment. This will be your **only opportunity to view your images and select your collection.

Booking Details

• $100 retainer required to reserve your session
• Retainer is applied toward your Petite Collection
• Retainer is non-refundable if you miss your appointment time

Sessions take place at DesiLu Cottage, located just 5 minutes outside the Town of Lewisville.

• Maximum 2 pets per time slot
• Please contact us if you would like to include more pets

Kitten season can stretch shelters thin as new litters arrive every day.

Your donation helps ensure those tiny new arrivals have the food they need while they wait for their forever homes.

Participating shelters will share recommended kitten food brands or wish lists prior to your session.
