Seen: A Shelter Spotlight Series is our commitment to supporting local shelters and rescue organizations by creating thoughtful portraits of adoptable dogs.
Shelters do extraordinary work every day. This project simply adds another layer of visibility — another opportunity for connection — and another chance for a dog to be recognized by the right person at the right time.
To stand alongside local shelters and rescue organizations by creating thoughtful portraits that help adoptable dogs be truly seen — fostering connection, encouraging adoption, and supporting the lifesaving work happening in our community every day.
We connect with community shelters and rescue organizations throughout the Triad to schedule a Seen session. Shelter staff help identify adoptable dogs who would benefit from additional visibility.
This series is designed to complement the incredible work already happening — not replace intake photos, but enhance visibility through intentional portraits.
All sessions take place at the shelter. We create simple, personality-driven portraits that highlight each dog’s expression, energy, and individuality.
Sessions are efficient, respectful of shelter operations, and centered around the comfort of the dogs.
Final edited portraits are provided to the shelter for use in adoption listings, social media, and website features.
The goal is simple: increase connection and visibility.
Each featured shelter is highlighted through our blog and social media as part of Seen: A Shelter Spotlight Series — driving additional attention to adoptable pets and current shelter needs.
Every feature includes direct links to the shelter’s website and adoption information.
We encourage our audience to:
• Adopt
• Foster
• Volunteer
• Donate
• Share adoptable pets
Because sometimes the right person just needs to see the right dog.
If you represent a local shelter or rescue organization and would like to schedule a Seen session, we would love to connect.
